I want to buy a firearm for personal protection and maybe to later use as a law enforcement officer. I have narrowed down my decision to either a .40 or a .357, and probably a Glock. I am looking for suggestions (.40 or .357)? Thanks!

I would get the .40 caliber.

Both are good choices. Glock's are excellent guns! I have a .40 in three sizes.

You should buy whatever one you prefer. I would buy the .357.

I recently purchased a .357, and have become quite a good shot. I am starting a police academy this fall.
