Ok I'm 20 years old, and when i was 15 my girlfriend sent me pictures of her they weren't fully nude but she still had bra and underwear on she was very promiscuous, now yesterday i was watching the news and i found out sexting was illegal, could this problem keep me from being hired and passing the background and lie detector. Doesn't it count as child pornography? Also i have no criminal record. I may have 1 speeding ticket but its paid off and everything.

If you were 15 it won't hurt you, but one thing I have to say about polygraph tests is that they don't work. The only purpose of a polygraph test is for agencies to see what kind of crap they can get you to admit to. It's an interrogation process that should be illegal but somehow the police force was able to create a loophole in the polygraph protection act that still allows government agencies to use it. Any law enforcement official that tries to tell you different is full of crap.

Just remember admit to small things like what you just said for example, and don't disclose anything that will disqualify you or will hurt your chances unless it is public record or something that they can find out.
