I have a stupid question..I just applied to the academy..My house looks like a typical dump man's house on the inside..Are they going to come look at it? Should I clean it up, take down the beer signs? haha

I don't think that they will come to your house, but I would clean anyway, and just in case! It's getting tough to get a police officer job. You don't want to risk anything screwing up your chances. I know that sometimes employers will look inside your car windows sometimes when you are there for an interview to get an idea of what type of person you are. I guess that they could do the same sort of thing with your residence.

Clean your place if it is a dump!

There is a good chance a background investigator will go talk to you neighbors. If they do, they will probably get a good look outside your residence. Regardless, clean up!
