So I graduate high school in a little less then five months. I've been thinking a lot of what I want to do with my life afterwards and I'm more then certain that I want to do something with law enforcement. What I would
really like to do is become a detective.
I'm only 5 feet tall, and weigh a measly 97 pounds. My parents are
completely against the idea. They're afraid their 'little girl' will get hurt. I can see why they would worry, but this is really what I would like to do with my life. I work out daily and do cardio, in an attempt to keep what little muscle I have. And I know it would be hard, but I'm ready to commit. We only get one shot at life, and I don't want to end up getting stuck in a job where I'm unhappy to show up at the office every day.
Aside from the question about what the weight and height limits are, what would be a good college degree for me to take in order to achieve this status? I was thinking maybe majoring in Computer Science along with Criminal Justice, or should I not do Criminal Justice? Any tips? They'd be much appreciated.
