If I join the Army and stay in for eight years, would I be too old be become a police officer after I get out of the Army? I am 25 now.

The majority of police departments don't have maximum age restrictions. I know of a couple that do. One is 37 and the other is 45.

You would still be young enough to join most police departments.

I know two officers that didn't become officers until they were in their forties!

I was 46 when I first become a police officer. You're never too old! Yes, some police departments have age restrictions. Just apply with ones that don't. Be persistent! If you can sell yourself and showcase your abilities and why you would be an asset to the department, you will get hired.
