I'm looking in becoming a police officer and my dumbass help my friend sell weed for a month and now I see I can't become a cop is this true? I deeply upset with myself in my younger years, I'm 21 now I and I think I was 18 or 19 at the time. You don't realize the frustration I have with my youth now

I know many departments that wouldn't hire you. Departments don't want to hire former drug dealers...

My department will not hire you if you've ever sold drugs. I think most departments wouldn't hire you. All you cando is try though.

It totally depends on what department you apply with. I'm sure some departments would hire you. Some definitely won't. There are thousands of police departments in the United States. Apply with as many as you have to.
