Subject: will tattoo's be an issue when applying for a police officer? Fri Jan 30, 2009 9:56 am
when i was 18-20 years old,i got a few tattoo's,6 to be exact. 3 on my right arm,2 on left arm,and 2 on the back of my neck. 95% of them are able to be covered up with a long sleeve shirt. except for the neck ones. will this be a problem to an agency since you are in the public eye?

Your tattoos on your neck would be a problem with many departments. If it is a cold climate, and departmental policy permits turtlenecks, you could wear one to cover up the tattoos.
